Fort Mahon - Ambleteuse

Two pictures of the same Fort, from another viewpoint and with another post processing mindset

This one was taken looking from the sea, the sea was not far enough 'gone' to my liking, but the light was fading fast.  Next time I have to return and look good at the tide tables...  Nothing special done in the post processing for this, my standard procedure to get the natural look I like

The second picture was taken from the other side, no sea in the way.  For this picture I wanted to capture the complete Fort with some foreground interest. First I tried to get a small panorama, but post processing proved to be to difficult to get a nice result. Luckily I also took the Fort with my favorite lens: Sigma 10-20.  Standard 3 bracketed exposures, photomatix processing (I choose a dark mood for this with the dark clouds coming in fast). Photoshop processing: Noise reduction, sharpening
